Hey you guys!!
I am always looking for creative ways to display pictures at my house because I take so many but I don’t need to cover all of my walls with the same type of frames. I had seen a chicken wire photo display around before, but I thought it looked so easy to make myself that I had better just do that instead of buying it! 🙂 The whole thing cost me about $20 and I’m loving how it turned out. It was so easy! Here’s the full how-to:
Materials:
Picture Frame (mine is from IKEA)
Chicken Wire
Wire Cutters
Staple Gun & Staples
Clothes Pins
Photos
Instructions:
First, empty your frame of any glass/mats/etc. leaving just the actual frame part.
Cut chicken wire to fit inside.
Staple chicken wire to back or inside of your frame to secure it.
Hang photos with clothes pins.
See? It’s actually so easy. The hardest thing about this project was finding the chicken wire at my hardware store – I had to finally just ask someone where it was! Apparently it is in a different section in every store so just a heads up on that.
So fun, right? It’s the perfect way to get those instagrams up on the wall! Make sure to check out these ideas too:
