You ready for some more Valentine’s ideas?? I sure hope so because I’ll be sharing a few more this week. You may think it’s early, but I just want to make sure you have plenty of time to get all the items for these fun projects. 😉
A few years ago I saw this cute Tackle Box Valentine’s Gift idea at Target. I knew I wanted to make one similar. I didn’t see the gift last year but I just spotted it again this year at my fav store – Target. I knew I could make one that was cheaper and filled with candy the hubby would love. I already told you he loved Swedish Fish, so I added more to this sweet treat, along with some other great fish-related treats!
Cute. Simple. Easy.
I’m not lying when I say it only took about 2 minutes to put together (okay – maybe 4 minutes, but that’s because I was taking pictures of each step – lol!!)
If you’d like to make this Reel U In Valentines Gift too for your special guy, here is what you’ll need…
SUPPLIES:
– Tackle Box/Container
– Fish-related candy or any candy
– Reel U In Print (available below)
– Glue Dots/Tape
DIRECTIONS:
{CONTAINERS – Top 2 were found in Target’s Dollar Spot. The bottom is a tackle box found in the Fishing section at Walmart for about $3.}
1. Fill your container with candy. I found these four kinds of candy at Target. 🙂
2. Download the above print, by Clicking on it, then Right-Clicking and SAVING. Open it in a program like word, re-size and print out.
3. Cut out your tag and attach it to your container using tape or glue dots.
You guys know how much I love an easy and cute Valentine’s idea!!! Yes, you can buy the one at Target but it’s $5 and is filled with a few generic candies. This one is cheaper, is handmade and can be filled with the recipient’s favorite treats. 😉
This would especially be cute if your loved one loves fishing! My hubby doesn’t really fish but he does love gummy candies so I know he’ll love it!
