I saw this idea at Target and couldn’t resist making my own Valentine’s Hooked on You Pail and Labels.
They are so fun and easy – and who doesn’t like Gummy Worms?
Here’s what you’ll need….
SUPPLIES:
- Gummy Worms
- Labels
- Pail (found at all craft stores or also in the dollar section at Target)
- Glue
DIRECTIONS:
1. Fill your pail with gummy worms. Set aside.
2. Download prints by clicking on the image (it will take you to a PDF with Pink, Red, Green and Blue Prints) above and then right-clicking and saving. Cut out labels. Download them using this document above.
They are available in 4 colors – Red, Pink, Blue & Green.
3. The labels will not fit all the way around the pail. I did this on purpose so people wouldn’t have to get it printed at an office store to print onto legal sized paper and all that jazz. You can just glue it to the pail.
That’s it. So cute and easy and the kids will love giving and getting these!!

So sad! Couldn’t find the pails at my Michael’s, Target, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn’s. :(:(:( I know I’ve seen them before, but I guess they aren’t stocking them here now…guess I’ll have to improvise!
Oh, darn!!! I just saw them at my Michael’s. Saw them in the Target $1 section too. Hmmm… What if you used a plastic jar?
I too couldn’t find them at Target or Hobby Lobby or the dollar store but I did get enough of them at Michael’s. Hope you find something just as cute that will work. Thanks for the idea, my teenage boys are making them for their Valentines!
So glad you found them at Michael’s. I hope you could use coupons to get them for even cheaper. π
So cute Kristyn!! Thanks for linking it up- I’ll be featuring this tomorrow for my Pity Party! xo
Thanks, girl! XO
This “Hooked on You” pail is adorable. My cousin’s husband loves to fish, so I’m emailing a link to her.

Such a cute idea! Question: What font did you use for the first picture? The one that uses hearts for the ‘o’? It’s so cute, I love it!
I Love what you do… I have it’s link on a post if you go HERE.
Love the idea! It’s just what I’ve been looking for my boyfriend for Valentines day, one question where would I get a pail like that? Walmart? Craft store?
You can find them in the dollar section at Target or you can definitely find them at Joann’s, Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. π
Hey I was wondering if this would be a good valentines gift to give an adult who loves gummy worms? I love the idea I think its very cute!
Thank you!
I think so! It’s perfect for anyone who loves gummy worms, in my opinion. π
Ok thank you! I love it!!
You recognize therefore considerably with regards to this matter, made me in my view imagine it from so many varied angles. Its like men and women are not interested except it’s one thing to do with Woman gaga! Your personal stuffs great. All the time deal with it up!
Do you know the size of your buckets? I looked everywhere for them today and I am having to order them from Amazon and I am unsure what size to get. Also, it says blue and green labels are available but only pink and red are showing up on my end. Is there somewhere I could get the blue and green for my little boys?! π Thanks – LOVE this idea!
If you click on the top image, it will take you to a PDF that has the green and blue. And off the top of my head, the pails are about 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. π
omg i tried this out and my bf loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE to hear that!!! Thanks for coming over to let me know. π
how did you find the idea????????????
It was inspired by one I saw at Target last year. π
Thank You! I love this idea! My boyfriend loves fishing, so I hope he finds this funny! I couldn’t find the adorable pail you had, but mine will do. Thanks again!!
You’re welcome. So glad you like the idea! Let me know how he likes it. π
I am definitely going to buy the supplies tonight! My boyfriend loves to fish so he would appreciate this gesture π DId you decoupage the label to the pail?
I found mine at Hobby Lobby however I had to get the small pail since they were out of the big one like yours. I hope the large labels work. Could you post smaller ones for the little pails? Thanks and such a cute idea for a guy valentine.
These are so super cute!!
Thanks, Dorothy!! π
Ok. This is just way too cute!!!!!
Thank you, Ashton!! π
I can’t get the link to work for the corset lacing technique, Is it just me or is there a problem? Cute idea!
That particular post was deleted when I transferred to another blog service. To do it just punch 3 holes on each side of the paper, add tacks to each hole and then lace it up with tulle or ribbon. π
Hi! I love this idea! any chance you can customize the label to include a name? I’d love to include my daughter’s name as part of the label so she can use these as her class giveaways for valentine’s day. Happy to pay for a customized label too!
Thank you! I am sorry, but I don’t do the customization’s. There are lots of ways you could add one, though. It just wouldn’t be printed on the label.
