Lily wanted to make a gift for her teacher for Valentine’s Day, and I agreed it would be a nice thing to do. Her teacher recently got engaged and told Lily she is wanting to eat healthy before the big day so we figured she wouldn’t be wanting a ton of sweets for Valentine’s. Instead we thought that a gift like the one we made at the beginning of the year would be better. π
This one literally took just minutes to make (my favorite kind of gifts). Quick is always nice if you’re like me and have ZERO time. π
Another great thing is it cost just about $5 to make. SWEET! The end result is something cute, useful and thoughtful.
What do you think? Cute. Easy. Inexpensive – probably my THREE most favorite words when it comes to gift ideas and crafts. π
Here is what you’ll need if you would like to make this Valentines Teacher Gift too:
SUPPLIES:
– Jar/Container
– Printables (available for download below)
– Glue Dots/Washi Tape
– Pencils (found mine in the Target Dollar Spot)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Click on the PRINTABLE you want to use above. Right-click and SAVE. Open it in a program like word and re-size it to what you need it to be to fit around your jar. I had to make the MARGINS on my Word Doc .25″ and then made the print 10.5 inches – a snug fit but it worked just fine!
2. Print, Cut out and attach to your jars with glue dots or washi tape. Fill with pencils or pens (got mine at the Dollar Spot). π
And you’re done – SOOOO easy!!
Nothing like a cute and quick gift, right?!
I know some teachers would prefer the chocolate but if you think your child’s teacher might not then this would be perfect for them! π

LOL!!!!!! I clarified it just a tid better. π
I just saw this on pinterest, and I love it! I used to be a teacher and I honestly find a lot of teacher gifts kind of cheesy, but every teacher I know loves fun pens so we’re going to fill a jar with fun pens for my son’s teacher this year. Thanks for the idea!
Pens is an even better idea!! Thx for stopping by. π
Love this thank you so much for sharing!

So glad you like it Karli. Maybe one day you’ll get this gift for V-Day! π
Sweetie these are great, and I love the idea, but the apostrophe looks like it’s after the “o” not the “u”?
That’s what I get for making it too light of font to see. I fixed it now. Thanks for the heads up. π
I think we might do this for Jordan’s teacher!
I totally bought those same pencils, and I don’t think I have a use for them. So, my son’s teacher probably needs to get them. What a sweet little gift!
Thank you, Alexis. What I love is it only takes 2 minutes to throw together. I hope your son’s teacher loves it! π
Such a cute idea!!
xoxo
Thanks, Jen!! XO
Love the jar with pencils idea!! But it does look like there’s a typo with the placement of the apostrophe. Is there an updated or correct version I can find a link to? Thanks!!
WOW… so sorry! Just fixed it and uploaded the corrected version. π
Updated the print! Thanks for catching it. π
I noticed the typo, as well, and would LOVE a link to the corrected version! We have our jar and pencils ready!! Thanks for the super cute idea!
Just uploaded the corrected prints! Sorry about that! :/
Thank you!! And, thanks again for the cute printable!!
Hii, is it possible to edit this um.. printables , so that there’s another message on it? I’d like to give it to my friend ^.^
I bet Lily’s teacher will love this and I am still thinking of a valentines gift idea for my daughters teacher and she will probably want pencils so I will ask my daughter Maddie she is in 6th grade if her teacher will want pencils
