I warned you that I would be sharing TONS of gift ideas!
Today I’m sharing 75+ DIY Gifts for Kids. I know it’s sometimes so much easier to go and spend $10 at Target to buy them a toy, but usually those gifts don’t last long. The Handmade Gifts given to me by my parents and grandparents are the ones I still have today. The blankets I received as a little girl are some of my most favorite treasures and I hope to pass them down to my own kids when they’re old enough to appreciate them. π
If you’re hoping to make some Handmade Gifts for your kids, I hope this round-up can help. Most can be made for under $10 which is awesome! There really are SO many great idea here!

This is a lovely list just in time for the holidays (so thank you!) but I did want to bring to your attention that the car seat cover is something all parents should avoid… anything that increases the bulk between baby’s body and the car seat (like a cover or a coat) will make the seat far less effective in preventing injuries during a crash. The Car Seat Lady has some great tips for parents who want to keep babies warm and comfy without compromising their safety: http://www.thecarseatlady.com/tips_and_tricks/tips_and_tricks_8.html
Great list! Thanks for featuring my DIY Crayon Roll! π
Thanks for the great idea!! XO
Thank you for these posts. Hubby and I are both unemployed at this point, so these ideas have brought me such peace of mind. We may be short on money, but we have time and now we have great ideas for gifts that I think the recipients will really like.
I may just be using some of these as Christmas Gifts. Thanks for the ideas!
Here are 30 more gifts to make for kids! Most are free!

Great list! But please don’t advocate for making personal car seat covers. The covers on car seats are tested and approved for safety both for crashes and being flame retardent. It says right in every manual to not use any aftermarket products or alter the seat in ANY way
So adorable with the perfect blend of ideas! Definitely gonna make these stuffs for my kids. Can’t wait! Thanks for sharing!
I’m so glad!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
