Cute and Festive DIY Halloween Wreath
Hi friends! It’s Marie from Blooming Homestead back to share a fun and Easy Halloween Wreath with you today.
We love decorating for Halloween around our house and always look forward to creating fun and elegant ways to dress up our home. While I usually stick with mostly neutrals, Halloween is the perfect time to add in some bright and bold patterns.
This specific wreath is super easy to put together with just a handful of supplies, and you can customize it to your style! Here’s how to make it!
Halloween Wreath Supplies
Here are the supplies you’ll need to make your own Easy Halloween Wreath:
- wreath form
- ½ yard striped fabric
- scissors
- rotary cutter
- cutting mat
- ruler
- Trick or Treat Laser Cut-out (Found at Hobby Lobby)
- black and white stripe ribbon
- hot glue and gun
- black spray paint
How to Make a Halloween Wreath
Step 1: To start you’ll want to spray paint the laser cut-out with black paint and set it aside to dry. (I found this cut-out at hobby lobby but have found similar ones at the craft and dollar store.)
Step 2: While your cut out is drying, you’ll lay out your fabric on the cutting mat and trim it in 2″ sections with the rotary cutter.
Step 3: After your strips are cut, you’ll hot glue one end to the back of the wreath form and start to wrap around. Finish off each strip on the back side and secure it with hot glue.
Continue wrapping strips around in the same manner until the wreath form is covered entirely.
Step 4: Next you’ll trim off a length of ribbon and tie it around the top of the wreath form to assist with hanging the wreath.
Step 5: Hot glue the painted cut-out to the top of the wreath.
That’s it, now you have a super adorable festive Halloween Wreath!
I’d love for you stop by Blooming Homestead and say hello!
